Privacy policy

The short version: your documents never leave your phone. We don't have accounts and we don't read, upload or store your files. The free version shows ads from Google AdMob, which uses device identifiers to choose and measure ads. Subscriptions are handled by Apple or Google, with Qonversion checking that a purchase is valid.

Who we are

Your documents

The app opens files that are already on your device, or that you open in it from another app.
On Android, the app asks for access to all files so it can list your documents. That access is only used to find and display documents on the device.
Files are read on your device only. We do not upload, copy to a server, or analyse the contents of your documents.
Your recent files, favorites, last page read and settings are stored only on your device, and are removed when you delete the app.

What is collected, and by whom

We do not sell personal information. The app has no account system and does not ask for your name, email or phone number. If you choose to email us feedback, we use your email address only to reply.

Your choices

Ad consent. Where required, the app asks for consent before showing personalised ads. You can change your choice any time in Settings → Ad privacy choices.
Tracking on iPhone. iOS asks whether the app may track you. If you choose "Ask App Not to Track", ads are still shown but are not personalised using your IDFA.
Advertising ID on Android. You can reset or delete it in your device settings under Privacy → Ads.
No ads. A Premium subscription turns off all ads, and with them AdMob's data collection.
Deleting data. Deleting the app removes everything it stored on your device. To ask Qonversion-linked purchase records to be deleted, email us.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country) and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA or Thailand's PDPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your personal data, and to complain to your data protection authority. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.
